Lots of Happenings! I'm a Busy Bee~

I'm back!! Stopped blogging for awhile but am back after lots of cake eating and celebrations.

Had 2 cakes this year for my birthday. Both happened to be Black Forest Cake from different pastry shops. First one was from Bengawan Solo, from my Aunt. Second was from Four Leaves, from my fellow co-workers.

Talking about the birthday celebration with my colleagues, it was a rather scary one. A Successful Surprise Belated Birthday Celebration, planned by Ah Puiz, Ah Fai, Ah Fan and Zen. Apparently, Ah Puiz got Ah Fai to hide in the store with the lighted cake, gave me an excuse to go get something from the store and Boo! I screamed at the top of my voice. xoxo

Then it was Papa's Birthday...

Bro's Good Pals got Daddy a Yummy Cake and celebrated at our place.

In-law gave me a can of laksa paste the other day. Bought all the ingredients for it and started to prepare. Looks Yummy rite?? It's Yummy! =)

I'm busy with alot of things at the moment. School just started again..this time round with A & P. Most imptly, I'm officially holding my Customary & Wedding banquet come March 2008. With such a short time, I've got to get everything ready.. the photoshoot, the gifts, the ppl and a whole lot more. Only one word to describe..TIRED! Chose my gowns..regretted with the some designs but wtf, just get it over n done with.

Anyway, sis & bro got me a gorgeous jewellery box for my birthday and my mum & dad brought it back from Perth.

Movie Mania : What to watch next?

It's the end of the year again. Lots of movies showing in theatres now. For me, it was Saw IV two weeks ago. Damn i missed I, II & III so IV was my first introduction to the serial. Really not a bad show man.. nice plot. I'm more of a horror movie fanatic. However, it also depends on whether the movie deserves my time. If the plot is so much predictable, then it'll be a total waste of time to watch it. Am waiting patiently for Beowulf and The Ferryman.. caught the trailers, scary scary... I want to watch!!!!! Two more days to Beowulf.. i thk. =)

Trip to the Good Ol' Days!

Last week, finally went to town with Hubby, Kel & 雪人 after work. Was there on the request of 雪人 cos she wanted to get herself a pair of rubber shoes she saw in a mag. Off we went to Paragon. I've not stepped foot onto that piece of BZ land for abt a year or more. Gave me just the perfect reason to drag hubby along. Orchard has indeed undergone some massive facelift. Just look at Taka Basement. I dun remember seeing so many food venues near cold storage and Scotts building went missing too. So looking forward to the new Orchard.

Took Cab from Bugis -> Reached Paragon & Sharon got her shoes -> Source ard Taka for Dinner Venues -> Landed at some Xiao Long Bao place -> Went Lucky Plaza -> Shopped at Far East Plaza -> Home

Dinner was on a major discount cos some ppl gv us the wrong bill. Our bill supposed to amt up to SGD$70+ but we ended up paying just SGD$40+. Which means some expensive dishes were on the house. *haha* We then proceeded to Lucky Plaza for perfume shopping but shop was already closed when we arrived. *Too Bad* Last stop was to Far East Plaza for some last minute shopping. Arrived at only 9 plus pm. Some shops were closing and we couldn't do much shopping. Stl managed to buy some clothes though.

Mummy and Daddy will be coming back on the 20th. *Yeah* I'll definitely be fetching them at the airport. Sadly, they will be leaving on the 28th again. They're just back for my birthday week. This time round Ceraph Boy n Cheyenne Girl wun be back with them. Finally managed to buy birthday presents for Mum n Dad. Got Mummy a Swatch Watch. Actually wanted to get her a braun buffel wallet but she said she'd prefer a watch since all her watches are old. Got Daddy a Goldlion Wallet with 2 years warranty. *So Good* =)

Got myself something nice too. Saw it like 3 weeks ago, drag my colleagues to go see it but didn't buy it, kept thinking abt it at home. In the end, decided to get it. It's a cheap Sembonia bag, not LV i know, stl unique.

I'm going to get a cute elegant charm next mth. It's a teddy charm. *Ex though. Costs ard SGD$29.95.*

Stl havent think of the birthday present that i want from hubby. Was thinking of getting a Wii but I'm definitely going to be bored of it sooner or later. It's a good form of exercise though. I think it costs like SGD$600.00 bucks? Is it? Hubby said no mobile phone for me since i just got myself a new phone. No need an mp3 player too since my phone is already an mp3 player and i've got a Samsung 20gb mp3 player le. Would really love to hv a dell's latest inspiron notebook but no point since i'm not a tech-freak. I already hv a desktop and hubby's got a notebook. No need for one more. Colleagues did mention that they might be getting me a set of LV mahjong. It's ex you know? I always play mahjong and it's like every week thingy and moreover i've another mahjong table now but just one set of mahjong tiles.

Went to Sis's facebook and saw the kids grew up. Ceraph will be a famous drummer someday! Cheyenne will be a pretty girl.

Ceraph loves to play with his Daddy's Electronic Drums. Cheyenne is very outdoor. She's my sunshine girl. I hope she remembers me.

近来的日子怎么样？

好久沒有 update 我的部落格了. 近來也沒忙什麼.

Hubby's back from SH but mummy & daddy went to Australia. Right now we hv to settle our own dinner and do our own chores. 今天是 the last day of the Hungry Ghost Festival, 我們剛才燒了些 incense paper. 回到了家里, 洗了澡就打電話給mummy. 聽她說Ceraph现在会说很多话了. 好像他哦！

前几天我买了一台新手机. 不过不是我早前想要的那几台. 其实我很喜欢诺基亚的 N76， 是超爱！

可是。。。

1）My service provider doesn't carry that model.

2) Since i've already redeemed for the Starhub voucher，i definitely hv to purchase thru the Starhub shop.

3) Fellow colleagues said N76 doesnt suit me.

4) The price for a No-Contract set is way out of my budget.

5) Another fellow colleague bought the phone first and gave me some feedbacks on it.

This sleek phone comes with a damn nice leather case which doubles as an extra battery, a real classy ear piece and fantastic sound quality for the music player.

I know this phone has been out in the market for quite sometime now. It's a nice phone anyway. Still haven't sell my SE K800i yet. Maybe..maybe not.

刚看完了一部香港连续剧《溏心风暴》。　的确是一部很好看的连续剧，很精彩！非常讨厌剧里的王秀琴，　简直就是恨之入骨！不过也有流眼泪的时刻。一定会跟我的朋友分享的！

Argh.. Hubby is in Shanghai now. Sianz man. Dunno what to do with my time after work. On the day he left for Shanghai, i went to buy myself some goldfishes. The goldfishes got code one. 0755A / 0755B & 1723. So cute rite? Tat's wat we name them now.

Last Monday, hubby and i had to settle our own dinner, as mummy decided not to cook, and so we went to JP's kopitiam lo. Very surprisingly, he asked if there's Transformers showing at JP GV. It's been like years since i last caught a movie at the theatre, since we got SCV and PPStream. Off we went to watch the 9.50pm show. It's superb i tell u! The 7 bucks is so damn worth it! Every second of the show's just so exciting. I'd give 10 thumbs up (that is if i relli hv ten thumbs la). I'm definitely buying the dvd once it's out. My favourite is Bumble Bee and Optimus Prime.

Anyway, hubby will be out of town on Aug 2, I'll be alone again. Boring.. Must find some programmes to do. Hubby out of town = no mahjong session = Boring Life. Stl got two more modules to go.. Am planning to take up another unrelated course. Really dunno wat to do eh. Less Talk More Action.. ArghH!!!

Oh.. What a Tuesday!

There are relli lots of crazy chap in SG man. Just this morning our cleaner auntie got scolded by this mid 30s chap ( i think ). She was just doing her job when this chap came into our office and just sat down at one table. She was cleaning the table next to him and he scolded her for cleaning that table when there's a customer ard. Apparently he was just waiting for his fren. The problem was that he was sitting in our office waiting for his fren. Our office is not a Kopitiam by the way. In the end, Valen went to confront him and offered him the way out. He's obviously *CRAZY*! 小丁东

Anyway, I thk i'll just get the Samsung phone. N95 is way too expensive. I'll just wait awhile more to see if there's any price changes. N76 is out for sure. It's not relli tt nice. I think it's way too big!

Got a small bonus ang pow from co yesterday. Quite satisfied with the amt, though it's not a big amt.

I'll go get ready to watch my 潮爆大状 on Cable. Ciaoz.. =)

I'm Aiming For A New Phone!

Argh.. I'm in love with 3 phones at the same time!! Contract with service provider will be ending soon, so it's time i change phone. Shortlisted 3 phones. One Samsung & Two Nokias.

First, it's the Samsung SGH-i600.

Then it's the Nokia N76.

I think this is still the best! Nokia N95. Of course it's the most pricey one too!

Hmm, so which one do you think i should get? Dunno if hubby can share the cost with me. Treat it as my birthday present lor. I know there's still 5 more mths to my birthday. I want to upgrade my phone!! My current phone is SE K800i. So should i upgrade to a 5mp phone or should i go for a sleeker SGH-i600 or N76?
Or there's a better model which you will recommend? What do you think?

大三元的日子

It's Father's Day today! We ordered KFC Home Delivery. Too broke to treat my dad to dinner outside. Have to make do with KFC lor.

Our usual sunday mahjong session started at 2pm today. I'm the Big Winner!! All thanks to a Self-Touch 大三元! I'm a Happy Girl! =)

Just Another Manic Monday!

Buay Sian Meh!?!?! Heng Monday nite liao.

星期一过得普普通通，没什么特别的。今天没吃午餐，没什么胃口。下午去 Singapore Post 买 SpeedPost Saver Box，想把我买给Ceraph 和Cheyenne 的衣服寄去澳州。自皮箱cost $5，可是 worldwide courier charges 贵咯！Total 是 $77.90。I'm officially broke again. 又是省钱的时候了。不过当我一想到那两个调皮的小瓜，穿着我买的可爱衣服时，就很开心。

我还是去看电视，吃 junk food 喝汽水然后睡觉。明天又是另一天！ 晚安！

It's Early Monday Morning!

Ended my Sunday mahjong session two hours ago. I'm the big winner!! Won abt $250. Hee~ It's 01 50 hrs now. Hv to work later but still not asleep yet. Anyway, bought 7 pairs of shoes last week. Mostly from Mondo. Cheap & nice. =) Going to sleep liao. Hubby going to sleep too. Blog more later today.

It's Sunday Morning.. Rest Day!

I just ended my mahjong session an hour ago. One kaki had to leave early to go DF for drinkin session. It was a no win no lose game for me but hubby lost 40 bucks. I'm actually waiting for my hair to dry so i can go to bed. Am really tired! Argh.. Left my hair dryer at my in-law's place, else i could've already gone to bed liao. Hubby stl playing his pc game, this time in our bedroom instead of living hall. I better go keep him accompany. Ciaoz.

I've been sleeping late for the past few days. It's 12.25am now and I'm stl awake! Been working 7 days consecutively, can only rest on Sunday. Am reading some blogs of famous reporters..always thot they're bz bz bees. They actually hv got time to blog too huh??

It was a very last minute decision! Huizz n Ron n Vin n Mond are playing mahjong at this very moment. Apparently, my husband (the "黑店老板") is the leading winner, for the time being.

Whoa laoz, last nite played mahjong till 3am man! Slept for 4 hours then went straight to work. Woke up feeling like zombie. I should be sleeping now, it's 10.50pm. I'll just blog awhile longer and go paint my nails. then ZzzZzzZz time. Hubby is still playing games on notebook now. Just finished painting my nails. My mum did a great job! Nice nails now. YeaH~ ok. I better go hv my sweet dreams. Hopefully.

Tired, going to sleep soon. Was abit late for work this morning, cos wanted to share cab with Valen, but no cab came. In the end, have to call for a cab. Sianz. Work work work till 6.30pm, took train home. Bought a $10 top at Boon Lay interchange. Nothing special la, just nuahz @ home then. Till now, ZzZzzZz time! Good Nite! =)

Oh What A Night!

Hmm, am sitting in the living hall, watching cable. Just heard some cheers from ten storeys below, guess they must be from the 24-hr coffee shop, and their soccer match.

Attended our company dinner @ Tanah Merah Country Club on Friday night. Didnt get to win the top prize, sad.

& Guess wat I've won?

I actually won an mp4 player which my department bought, but i was hoping to win the Webcam. Anyway, i managed to exchange my mp4 for the webcam. YEAH!!! Thanks to Szehui & Valen! Btw, they are both my colleagues. We ate quite abit of yummylicious dishes.

It was a 9-course Chinese meal, as stated on the menu.

I seriously dun know wat this is, but it's some Thai Styled sweet, sour spicy thingy. Very appetizing! A great starter.

The usual Shark Fins. I stl prefer Mummy's version.
