Look at how cute the lovely Cheyenne is! Sitting on balloons at my sofa area. She looks just like my younger days!
Grandpa visited quite a few times when my family came back from Perth.
After some last minute hunt, we decided on this hotel cos' my other aunt also left from the same hotel when she married my uncle years ago and the rates here is affordable ($280 a night) and it's near town..it's right next to the Raffles Town Club. It's a room with balcony..so it's actually quite nice if i was stl smoking..but the balcony's more for my dad's puffing habit instead.
The balcony faces some really cool private apartments with wat looks like a mini personal pool. *If you can see them clearly, the bluey area by the side.*
Aunt Jenny drove us to check-in and soon after we checked in, dad went to meet his pals while Aunt Jenny, Mummy & I went to meet Aunt Agnes and another fren of theirs. We met up at the stretch of dining places opp Bukit Timah Plaza.
Headed back to the hotel and prepared for my big day. U knw they say the bride and groom shld rest well and not do anything the night before but I didnt! I slept at 2am and woke up at 4.45am! Cos we had to tie the ribbons to these complimentary bookmarks which Volans Couture gave. They designed and printed these out..so nice! There's only like 80 pcs available so it's sort of like limited edition thingy. *Bluekz* =p
Siqi tying the wrist corsage for Daphne. The wrist corsage is not exactly the kind i was hoping for.. cos it's just a pink rose with some leaves..i wanted afew pink roses..horizontally kind. Nvm..stl suitable la.

The guys arrived. So the girls got all ready to go ahead with the "Gatecrashing" ceremony, with no gates.
I found out that those questions which i answered were the questions they posted to hubby..and when he failed to answer each question, he had to complete the penalty task assigned..failing which, he'd to give a $20 angpow to the bridesmaids.
As you might've know, we're mahjong fanatic.. so the girls arranged one of the penalties to be mahjong involved. The guys were supposed to pick up the set of tiles for 十三幺, from a bucket of icy cold water with loads of other mahjong tiles and ice in it.
Unfortunately..they gave up eventually.. It's goodbye to $20.
The Undies & Bra thingy..
The Human Pole dancing thingy..
The Chilli Padi thingy..
Look how poor thing!! *Heart Pain*
some traditional "yummy" 酸甜苦辣 for the guys. This is a whole bottle of 甜.. I heard it's also a torture to drink this lor..it's even like the worst among the four.
Hubby's Elder Bro & Sis-in-law came along too..
Then it was time to head over to my in-law's place.
This was our bridal car..thanks to Uncle Richard Toh & Aunt Grace!
My arrival - stl had to cross over the burning charcoal flames and fyi, i had to hold the rice scoop in one hand too!
Didn't get to eat the dumplings..cos we were told just to drink the soup for the purpose..意思意思!
Then we took some pics with his lovely nieces.
Definitely some of our own lovey dovey pics.
Not forgetting my beautiful and costly nails..
Spent most of my time alone in the room where i used to sleep in. The mirror i used to use too..
While i was alone in the room, guess what the rest of them were doing outside in the hall?!?!
Hahahaha...They were busy taking these shots..
Soon, it was time to proceed to my aunt's place for bride's side tea ceremony.
It's a tradition for the groom to take out the first bobby pin from the veil.
Voila! Changed into Kua and headed for my aunt's place to meet my family & relatives.
Mummy and Daddy were in super rush from the hotel back to our place to put the barangs and then to my aunt's place for tea ceremony.
This is the aunt i mentioned earlier who drove us to check-in.. Aunt Jenny, and the gift she & the rest of my aunts shared. Isn't it gorgeous? It's a necklace and bracelet from Poh Heng.
A series of shots taken at my aunt's place. Serious to Candid!
They rellli pushed damn hard lo...I can feel blue black coming out...
After all the tea ceremony..and food galore.. we all headed back home for a short rest..but of course being the Groom & Bride means we stl got loads to prepare.. there was some probs with the seating arrangements. Hubby had to attend to them back home. Me? Showered and packed for the stuff to the hotel and our barangs to the chalet right after our wedding banquet. Siong huh?!
..The Wedding Banquet..
A Simple Affair held at a simple venue. Hilltop Garden @ Civil Service Club.
The Unique Guestbook and Wedding Favors which i bought. Love the favors..The Hugging Salt & Pepper Shaker in Custom Made Organza Pouch..Thanks to Miss Valen Tan!
Not to forget the Ang Pow Box made by Yours Truly. *Ahem*
Our Menu for the Evening..It's one of the highest priced menu at the restaurant.
The Place It's Going to Be!
Imagine we arranged to meet the guys at 5pm at the restaurant..but we were late..if i'm not wrong..i think we only arrived at ard 5.30pm. My make-ups not done yet and i cant do it then cos i stl had to wait for my mother-in-law to finish doing hers first.
Didnt get to mingle with the guests at the cocktail reception..cos i was stl doing my make-up and hairdo.. but these memories were shot as well..

The Cake Cutting Ceremony.
Seated at our Red Table. I tell you there were lots of nice food that day and also free flow of beverages incl. liquors, red wines & beers BUT I only managed to eat the first 3 dishes..small portions of it.. so sad.
Eating...
He fed me! How sweet..
My Dear Grandpa!!
My Best Co-Worker.. Ms Sze Hui.
From Bridal Gown to Evening Gown.. The Champagne Pouring Ceremony. I guessed all the groom will get to face the same problem..a relli difficult-to-open champagne bottle. Hubby was like trying to turn the bottle cork..
turn turn turn and it just won't give in..stubborn cork! Finally..it surrendered & POP!
Then it was time for the Toasting Ceremony! This was the LOUDEST Yam Seng I've ever heard.. Thanks to these relli spontaneous group of Yam Seng Party!
After the relli hilarious toasting ceremony..it was some time for serious speech by Moi!
Well, the speech was delivered at a rather solemn & quiet atmosphere.. which somehow affected me so much that halfway thru it, i cried a little but managed to control my tears..
After the wedding banquet when thanking the guests, I was told by many that my speech was excellent and in fact, it was even like the highlight of the dinner.. shall reveal my speech in my next post.
It's not a very big venue..but just nice la. The guests were all nice people.
My new family!
MY Family! Love them so much!!!
These group of ppl are like my god brothers who watched me grew up.
They are my elder bro's best buddies with my cousins in this pic.
My Best Group of Ex Co-Workers from Mktg & Media @ Way.
My Ex Co-Workers from Way too..relli appreciate their presence that evening.
Haha..and the Craziest bunch of Ppl! Hubby's Bestest Pals!
After going around tables for phototaking..it's our turn to be Sabo-ed!
I'm supposed to bring the eggs beneath the pants and up, pass the XXX area and down again..without breaking the eggs..failing which, hubby would've to down some liquor.
Needless to say..I succeeded la..
In the end, everyone toasted and Yam Seng!
Soon, it was time to bid goodbye to the guests..but hubby got caught by his uncles and relatives..another drinking session.
My Family took the chance to take the Family Photo..with everyone presence~ so happy!
